GO.1… PRUSSIAN GENERAL OFFICERS DRESS TUNIC
An Imperial German Generals tunic of the period before 1912. Dark blue tunic with 12 button front. Poppy red collar and cuffs with the Generals insignia directly embroidered into them. Poppy red piping to the front button edge and to the rear tails. piping to the edges and complete the its General Major epaulettes each with a silver crown on and its gilt aguilettes with the typical General Officers Scarlet & black silk or rayon lining in really excellent condition. Sorry I cannot separate any of the elements as they came together .

This is A very high quality piece Retaining most of its early, now dull mercury silver finish… Also worth noteing the extent of the raised convex guard star and the black eagle order and the high definition of the eagles beak and tongue. Another Superb example.

An extremely rare set of Prussian Generals collar and cuffs in the Alt Larish or New Prussian form ( 2nd pattern) This pattern was introduced in the 1909 and this set are of its last of the 1909 / 1910 General pattern ( it was in wear from 1904 but became universal in 1909 ) General Officers collar with poppy red cloth backing and grey silk lining with Gilded embroidery of Generals larish form. Still retaining considerable gilding over silver wire . The cuffs are again poppy red with gilded wire embroidery The backing is stiffening hessian. This set is in excellent condition and in full colour. The cuffs have their Assman gold buttons on them…. The collar is approx 20 inches or 50 cm long. This set is extremely rare
